Why Sioux Lookout?
Chelsey is born and raised in Sioux Lookout and is part of the Kasabonika Lake First Nation. Sioux Lookout is also where my family called home for many years. Being able to donate to a small community that we both have roots in is important to us.
About The Sioux Lookout Men Ya Win Health Centre.
SLMHC is a fully accredited 60-bed hospital and a 20-bed extended care facility. The Health Centre is built on the sacred land and traditional territory of the Lac Seul Ojibwe Nation, where they provide health services to all residents of Sioux Lookout and the surrounding area, including Hudson, Pickle Lake, Savant Lake, and the First Nation communities in the region. MenoYaWin, in the Anishinaabe language, means health, wellness, well-being. It refers to holistic healing and wellness, the whole self-being in a state of complete wellness. Their care recognizes the relationship of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of the person. They embrace a holistic approach to healthcare. Patients and families have the option of integrating traditional and modern medicines and practices. They recognize and respect the cultural and linguistic significance of the people whose health care is entrusted to them.
The SLMHC Foundation was incorporated in 1994, and its purpose is to raise money in order to provide funding for medical equipment, education, special treatment programs and capital building funds for SLMHC. Contributions to the Foundation’s Mental Health and Addiction Program Youth Programs Fund helps to support programming needs for youth undergoing treatment for addiction and mental health needs and supports them through their recovery. Invest in our youth to ensure a healthier future for our communities. Find out more about SLMHC and the SLMHC Foundation online at: slmhc.on.ca/foundation
There are 2 styles of sweaters to chose from, the floral design or the air design ( in post photos the yellow sweater is FLORAL design and the black sweater is the AIR design)
These sweaters can be ordered in a range of colours. They all come with white writing on them, except the white sweater. The white sweater will be made with black writing on it.
If you are needing a larger size, we do have them available! Due to the supplier I go through, some colours are limited in larger sizes, so please send me a message prior to ordering and I can let you know the colours that are available at that time.
I use Gildan Heavyweight Crew Neck Sweatshirt. There is a sizing chart in the photos of this listing. I use a heat transfer vinyl, which is 100% machine washable. For the best care of sweater is it recommended to wash as normal, but let hang to dry. I have thrown mine in the dryer many times and it is still holding up.

I LOVE my new "one breath at a time" sweater. It's great quality and super comfy. I've just ordered a second one for my mom because she loved mine.
Its a great product that benefits a great program!
I Love my chelsey sweater, it’s so cozy! The just breath design is great and I like that money from each sale is being donated. I received it really quick too!
